Today is the day I have been waiting for. My Reiki Master attunement happens today at 4 p.m. I'm so excited and thankful that this day has come. It feels like I have been waiting forever even though it truly hasn't been that long. I will go into my attunement with an open heart and let the Reiki energy flow through my very soul.
I long to be one with the cosmic consciousness, to know, to feel, to do. I believe this path was chosen for me long before I was born and today is the beginning of the fulfillment of my true life's journey. I am so grateful to the divine spark that created all of us and gives us the ability to heal our bodies and spirits.
I think today of Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder and father of Reiki who well over 100 years ago first discovered the gift of Reiki and began passing the knowledge on to the future generations. Without him Reiki would not be known or understood in the way that it is today. The energy is always there around us and inside us, but we would walk blindly and unknowing if it wasn't for him. I am grateful to him today and honor his memory and his tireless devotion to the divine and to humanity.
I am grateful to the everlasting spark of creation, ever evolving, ever renewing, for bringing me into this world for the purpose of healing others. To all my spirit guides who have led me to my path and continue to guide me onward.
Today my Reiki journey is far from over, but this is a major milestone on the path and I am pleased and proud to be a part of it. Today I look toward the future, to the many people whom I hope to touch through the healing power of Reiki, to future clients as well as students. I truly feel blessed today, and truly charmed.
This life is ever changing, ever moving, ever evolving, ever renewing. I thank the divine for the life that I have had thus far, the good and the bad, and I thank them for all the life that is to come after today no matter how long this physical life may last. The divine spark which created us, is always with us and we are always with them whether it be this life, the next life, or beyond.
May the divine continue to move within me today and always, and may the divine move within those around me, and all those who might read these words.
Namaste,
Will
